Floral Watercolours
I am currently exploring the concept of re-wilding and the importance of encouraging bees and insects back into our landscapes. My focus is on capturing the unique characteristics of wildflowers—their natural, random growth and their ability to adapt and survive without human intervention.
In my work, I aim to convey a sense of place and environment. I want to depict where these plants grow and the elements surrounding them, whether they are in woodland, beside water, or along a pathway. By capturing the diverse and self-sown nature of these flowers, I hope to create a space for the imagination to wander and discover.

Pastel Drawings
I love to capture the storms, rain and ocean in a dramatic way, catching the light as it filters through the clouds.

“Eastern Beaches of the Hauraki Gulf see the sun rise and rain storms sweep in. There is a light that is magical. This expanse of space is fragile.
One Pōhutukawa holds on to the cliff face, it prevails.”
